Bioclimatic Architecture

eBook list

Adaptation to Climate Change: Adaptation is defined as the process of change by which an organism or species becomes better suited to its environment. Our universe is a constantly changing place, with some changes happening quickly and others taking centuries to occur. Despite not always being noticeable, change is always happening around us. The climate on our planet is no exception, with variations in temperature, sunlight, rainfall, and wind direction occurring both throughout the year and throughout the day and night. These changes cause nature to adapt, with organisms such as deciduous plants shedding their leaves and animals hibernating to cope with shifting metabolic needs.
